A church is not kept by stone alone. It is kept by the gifts of those who love it.
St Nicholas receives no regular government funding. Everything — heating the building through winter, insuring a Grade II* listed church, maintaining the organ, supporting our ministry — depends on the generosity of our congregation and friends.
Regular giving
The surest support of all. Through the Parish Giving Scheme or a standing order, a planned monthly gift lets us budget with confidence. Even a few pounds a month, given faithfully, sustains the daily life of the parish.
A one-off gift
Give by card, bank transfer or in the collection plate on a Sunday. Every amount, large or small, is received with gratitude.
